I’m considering Allen’s future in this world…or more like I’m considering how best to tell his story in this world. I already know what happens. [But I'm not telling.] I’m going to jump Allen forward in time about five years. Don’t worry, I’ll write a summation of some of the events and make it flow. It’s the best way I can think of to move the story from where it is now to where it needs to be to be as engaging and fast-paced as possible. And Allen needs some tempering–five years worth of it. So, I had better get to the writing.
