Northern Heart, Home

A few weeks in

The story’s really starting to come together, I think. I revised and edited the first nine chapters pretty extensively. There were thirteen or so of them, but I chopped out four as being irrelevant rambling. I picked up the action a bit in the others to make them a little faster.

Just put up the sixth new chapter since I started writing on this again. It’s working out. I like the way the story is going so far, the plot is coming together, the characters are starting to develop and take on a bit of life of their own, and things are fun. The action is good.

Not sure if I’ll be able to keep updating, what with the amount of studying I should be doing (and am currently not doing, since I’m writing instead), but I’ll try to make it fit. Both things are important, although the prelim exam I have in August is far more life or death than my story.
